London's Top Italian Food Spots

We are all dreaming about the Euro 2026 summer. Imagining a pearly drop falling from the glass of an ice-cold Aperol Spritz as it sits in the sweltering heat. We are along the Italian coast - sun blaring, waves roaring, a bowl of pasta steaming. It’s the dream.

But until summer hits, it really is just that… a dream.

Reality is, we haven’t even booked flights. Might not even get the time off approved. Sigh.

Well, screw that. We’re not going to sit around fantasising about the Italian coast that we may, or may not, see this summer. No. We’re heading out to places that give us an authentic taste of Italy. We are bringing the dream to life, right here, in London.

The sky may be grey, and that pearly drop may have been released from a dark and ominous cloud in a ferocious cluster… but in our minds, we are in Italy.

Let’s explore all the flavours of the country together.

Casa Tua

Comforting and homey, Casa Tua brings you the part of Italy that’s all about comfort food. The restaurant itself captures the feeling of a classic Italian siesta - warm, cozy, a little slice of calm after a long day.

The simplicity of their dishes should not be mistaken for lack of care. Their iconic sandwiches are to die for, made with fresh bread and produce that taste like they’ve been picked that morning.

Pasta Nostra

In the heart of Shoreditch sits Pasta Nostra - a vibey, youthful Italian spot. The dishes are made fresh every day, with showstoppers like the Mafalde beef shin and tiramisu.

If you’re craving the more vivacious side of Italy, this is the place to be. Live jazz hums in the background, an espresso martini in hand, and a scorching bowl of pasta on the table… it’s all the energy you need.

Emilia's Crafted Pasta

Emilia’s Crafted Pasta is quick, fresh, and oh-so-tasty. If you need a fast Italian fix, this is the spot. Always buzzing with groups and movement, Emilia’s delivers incredible flavours alongside an amazing atmosphere.

Order that Aperol with your lunch… we know you want to.

Bella Cosa

An Italian restaurant set on the Canary Wharf docks... could it get any more perfect?

Bella Cosa captures the taste of the Italian coast.

Sit by the window, sip Tuscan wine, and nibble on a cheeky slice of pizza. You might just convince yourself you’ve been transported straight to Italy. Full of Italian charm and perfect for date night, Bella Cosa is a little escape from the city, without leaving London.
